10 Year Celebration!!

What’s better than cake?? Ice cream cake filled with fudge!  If you know me well you know ice cream is one of my favorite foods –  There is ALWAYS room for ice cream and it’s the perfect treat for a celebration!

What are we celebrating??  April 20th marks the official 10 year anniversary of Angela Archer Photography!

It is such a blessing to work in an industry I love and I have SO many people to thank:

Growing up my parents have always supported me in any interests, hobbies, and dreams I’ve had.  They have been there to offer a hand or piece of advice throughout my journey and as a business owner it’s been no different.  I absolutely would not be where I am today without their help, guidance, and encouragement.  Thank you Mom & Dad for always being in my corner.

To my husband, he puts up with me constantly thinking about my business, working odd hours, coming up with new projects, ideas, and more and more props being added to our storage room 😉 He has supported me and gone along with some of my crazy ideas.  I am so thankful to have a partner who understands how much this business means to me.  Since having our daughter he has been there every step as I navigate the balance of being a mother and a small business owner.  He never complains when I want to update our family portraits or try something new because he understands how much I value documenting these moments in our family story.

My Jaylin, she is the greatest blessing of all, even tho she is still too young to understand, she is my whole world and has given me a different perspective on life.  I have always been amazed by the story a photograph can tell, but after becoming a mother there are so many more moments that pass too quickly.  The joys, snuggles, celebrations, little moments that happen in everyday life — to press the pause button and relive some of those moments that make up our journey is such a gift.  Jaylin is already more than tired of being photographed but some day I hope she will appreciate the portraits of our family and smile on her childhood memories.

To all my family and friends that have been there over the last ten years, those who have supported me in the ups and downs of running a business — I am so very thankful for your support and encouragement!

And last but certainly not least a HUGE thank you to all my clients!  If I’ve had the opportunity of photographing you, your family, your children, or any other session over the past 10 years know I am so grateful for you and your business!  I am truly blessed with the best clients and I thank you for inviting me into your lives and sharing your memories with me!

As I reflect over the past 10 years there are so many wonderful memories, so many things that have changed, and I looking forward to the next 10 years and all it includes for Angela Archer Photography.  If I’ve photographed you in the past I urge you to get in touch or send me a message, if it’s to book a new session, catch up, or just simply say “HI”  I’d love to hear from you!  If I have never photographed you I’d love to be considered for your next portrait session, life event, or celebration!
