Two Engagement Sessions & Arrested!

I am so excited to share Ann & Jake’s engagement portraits!  I have known Ann and her family since she was just a little girl; although she is a bit younger than me we grew up in the same town, attended the same church and schools.   I am truly honored and delighted to be capturing these moments for these two!  Jake is from Howard Lake and has many ties to his community, his family owns the local hardware store and he is a member of the ambulance and firefighter crew.  Their first engagement session was a beautiful summer evening, we started at the lake and then headed out to Jake’s parents farm.  Sooo many beautiful locations and backgrounds, then Jake got a call – there was an emergency and he was needed with the ambulance.  Our second engagement session to finish up was on Ann’s birthday!  What a great way to celebrate and Jake arrived with a bouquet of flowers – good man!    We finished up with a few more portraits at his parents farm and even a few photos with the firetrucks.  Of course a police officer spotted us in town at the firehall, cuffed the two together, and gave us a good laugh (what marriage will really be like…just kidding!!).  As you can tell by the photos these two are perfect for each other and the way Jake makes Ann laugh is just the cutest.  Congratulations Ann & Jake, I am so looking forward to your upcoming wedding!
