I am so grateful for sessions like this one. Two busy boys, one determined big brother, and a whole lot of giggles made for one of my favorite recent sessions in my Eagle Lake, Minnesota studio.
Little brother was on the move the entire time, and I mean the entire time. That energy is exactly what makes toddler sessions so much fun to capture. He kept us all laughing, and every genuine giggle we caught on camera is one his mom will treasure for years.
Big brother had his own agenda for the day. Once we moved outside to a private backyard for the second half of the session, he decided it was the perfect time to go snake hunting. His idea, not mine! 😬 He led the charge with total confidence, until we actually got close to it. Then he was suddenly not so sure snakes were part of the plan after all and didn’t want to get any closer to the tall grass. 😆 We are happy to report no snakes were found, and no big brothers were harmed in the making of these photos.
My favorite moments, though, came in studio with these two and their mom. There is something so special about capturing a mom with her boys exactly as they are in this season of life. Busy, wild, sweet, and completely hers. Those quiet in between moments, a kiss on the cheek, an unexpected snuggle, are the ones I hope she looks back on for years to come.
If you are chasing two busy boys of your own and want to hold onto this chapter, I would be honored to capture it for you. I offer both studio and on location sessions throughout Eagle Lake, Mankato, and the surrounding southern Minnesota area. Enjoy my favorites of these two adorable boys! ❤️
