Joni & Jessie’s Green Isle MN Fall Wedding

October 22, 2016 was another beautiful Minnesota fall day, perfect for Joni & Jessie’s wedding! We arrived early so we’d have plenty of time to check out our location for photos and get creative with the many details we had to photograph! After Joni was in her dress and ready to go we drove down the road to some beautiful fall color by the lake. The first time the groom see’s his bride is one of my favorite parts of a wedding day and their “first look” surly did not disappoint. The wedding party was a hoot and full of laughs, although the guys could be pretty serious when they pulled out their guns! They said their “I do’s” with family and friends surrounding them at a small country church just outside of Green Isle, MN. After the ceremony one of the sweetest things I’ve seen-Joni, Jessie, and his Grandma went and visited Jessie’s Grandpa’s grave-as I photographed this special moment I could not help but get a little teary eyed, such a thoughtful thing to do. The Arlington Haus is one of their favorite places to eat so we made a stop there and then headed to Henderson for a few more photos~ we ended our day at the reception in St. Peter~ beautifully decorated, great food, speeches, and of course the first dances!
