Karen & Bob’s Prairie Moon Winery Wedding

Bob is my husbands uncle, which makes this wedding extra special.  I truly enjoy every wedding I get to photograph, but when it’s family and you know a little bit more about the couple it’s a whole different kind of celebration.  Bob & Karen had their engagement portrait session as Prairie Moon Winery last year and I remember listening to all the plans and details they had for their wedding day, and now the big day was here!  The venue, decorations, and details were all beautiful, such a cool location for a wedding.  It was a hot hot muggy summer Iowa day but the kids along with Bob and Karen gave me plenty of time outside to create some awesome portraits.  I absolutely loved their ring exchange, neither Bob or Karen had seen their own wedding rings until that day.  They did a special grand reveal after their first look seeing either other all dressed up for the day.  This was one of my favorite parts of the day, the love they have for each other was so vibrant.  Congratulations Bob and Karen on a beautiful wedding day, thank you for inviting me into this special time!  Enjoy some of my favorites!
