Marisa & Lane’s Wedding Part 1

The day had arrived!  After all the planning, uncertainties due to restrictions, and re-planning, Marisa and Lane’s wedding day was here!  Although it was not what they had initially planned, it was a perfect wedding overflowing with love and celebration.  I’ve known Marisa her whole life as she is my first cousin, growing up in the same town there are so many fun memories I can think of during our childhood.  Looking back I can still see her as a spunky little girl playing with dolls or running around our Grandparents farm.  It’s hard to believe she’s old enough to be married, and I’m so happy she has found the love of her life!  Lane is absolutely perfect for her and I’m honored to be able to capture their wedding story.

My top favorite moments from the day include:

  • The first look with Marisa’s Dad (sweet moments as he sees his little girl as a bride)
  • The generational photo with Lane, his Mom, and his Papa
  • The first time Lane saw his bride walking down the isle
  • Lane hugging his Papa after the ceremony
  • Maggie seriously referring to Lane as “Auntie Lane”
  • Photos with their pup Frankie
  • Group photo with the friends and family that could attend
  • Lane pouring the celebratory champagne for his wife!

Congratulations Marisa & Lane!  I can’t wait for your second wedding celebration in July, after all what bride wouldn’t want to wear her wedding dress twice?!?!
